I am both a photographer and a videographer, and although they are somewhat similar in nature, the editing process is very different. When I edit a photo, I can usually tell immediately if the edit was for the better or for the worse. If it was for the better, I turn to Julianna to show off the final version. If it was for the worse, I start over. However, when I edit video - especially the music video montage (which is the highlight of the entire DVD) - it's not quite so simple. Often, I can't tell if the video is any good; the editing takes so much time my brain is a little mushy by the end. That's when Julianna steps in to preview my work. The video passes the test only if it can invoke some kind of emotional response (the highest achievement, of course, is tears). I have to admit that after doing so many weddings, getting Julianna to cry at my videos is a tall order (Julianna - you're not cold-hearted, honestly).

In May we posted some of our favorite pictures of Darlene and Giuseppe's wedding, but we also did the videography for their beautiful day. The best part is that when Julianna watched it, she got teary eyed.

Yessss! I've still got the touch....... :-)
